The 2 Nights / 3 Days Chitwan Jungle Safari offers a more immersive exploration of Chitwan National Park, blending wildlife adventures with cultural experiences at a relaxed pace. Staying at Jungle Villa Resort, guests enjoy guided activities led by experienced naturalists in one of Nepal’s richest wildlife habitats.

The itinerary includes Tharu village walks or jungle walks, canoeing on the Rapti River, and a visit to the Crocodile Conservation Project, providing both educational and scenic value. A highlight of this package is the jeep safari deep inside the national park, where guests may encounter one-horned rhinos, deer, wild boars, bisons, and, with luck, the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. 12:30 pm — Lunch: A delicious lunch prepared by the kitchen team will be served on arrival.

2:30 pm — Tharu Village Walk: The Tharu people are indigenous to the area with a culture unique from elsewhere in Nepal and India. Guests stroll through the local Tharu village, visiting the Tharu Cultural Museum. The naturalist briefs guests on the social and cultural aspects of the villagers and their lifestyle.

Jungle Walk: Guests walk into the jungle accompanied by a jungle expert, watching birds, flora, and fauna for an intimate experience of nature.

5:00 pm — Happy hour followed by Sundowner: Enjoy the peaceful view of the river from the deck area, watching wildlife and nature, lounging around the resort premises.

6:30 pm — Exhibition on Chitwan: A Wildlife Paradise: One of the wildlife experts gives a short presentation about Chitwan National Park, its wildlife, and a brief history of the park.

Tharu Cultural Dance: Guests enjoy the local Tharus showcasing their traditional Tharu stick dance, an age-old tradition usually performed to appease the gods during religious festivals.

8:30 am — Crocodile Conservation Project visit: Guests visit the Crocodile Conservation Project, established in 1971 to breed and release the endangered Gharial. The naturalist provides information about methods and programmes to increase Gharial population in the wild.

9:30 am — Canoeing: A boating tour in a traditional Patela boat along the Rapti River, with aquatic birds, Gharials, and other animals on the river banks. Approximately 45 minutes.

12:30 pm — Lunch

2:30 pm — Jeep Safari: Guests ride a jeep through the wilderness, observing one-horned Rhinoceros, countless species of deer, bisons, and if lucky, the Royal Bengal Tiger. Duration: 2-3 hours.

5:00 pm — Happy hour followed by Sundowner

6:30 pm — Wildlife exhibition or Tharu Cultural Dance

7:30 pm — BBQ Dinner: Served in the central dining hall or outside on the deck, depending on preference.
