Hello. I am Hari Dharel, the Managing Director as well as Founder of Destiny Excursion. I have worked in travel and tourism for more than 35 years and have seen many changes in this field since the beginning. Besides being the founder of Destiny Excursion, I am also the Honorary Consul General of Denmark to Nepal, and through this role, I try to keep good relations between the two countries. In the past, I served as the chariman of the Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal (HRA), where I worked to help make trekking in the mountains safer.

I have also worked with groups like the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP) and the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), and was president of the Nepal Climbing Sport Association (NCSA) and general secretary of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN). Currently, I am the Founder, President/Coordinator of Nepal the World Games Federation. All of these roles helped me learn many things about tourism and the people who work in it,. Even now, I believe that simple things like honesty, hard work, and experience are what keep this industry strong.
